Netball fans in Christchurch can watch The Good Oil Tactix in a new FAN ZONE which has been created at Christchurch Netball Centre.

With the help of Sky Television and Harvey Norman, The Good Oil Tactix away games will be screened on the BIG SCREEN at the Centre on game days scheduled on a Saturday or Sunday.

Doors will open at 4.15pm.

Remaining matches being broadcast at the FAN ZONE are on Sunday 19th July, Sunday 26th July, Saturday 1st August, Saturday 8th August and Sunday 16th August. All games start 5pm.

'We hope that families will be encouraged to come along and enjoy the action in the company of others', said Helen Mahon-Stroud who is on the CNC Game Development Committee and who has been working with Netball New Zealand on the initiative.

'We're also encouraging coaches and managers of younger players to organise their teams to come along', she said. 'We know how much they have missed each other and playing netball.'

Fans are encouraged to BYO beanbags and cushions to make it like home. A limited number of bean bags are available on a first in first served basis. Grab a bag of popcorn, a Cookie Time, pull up a seat and make yourself at home.

Prize for the best dressed Tactix Fan at each event.
