The Duke of Edinburgh Hillary Award | with Christchurch Netball Centre

Christchurch Netball Centre’s purpose is to boldly lead the growth of a flexible and inclusive Netball Centre, fostering a culture of fun, development, aspiration, and success.

We can provide opportunities for participants of the Duke of Edinburgh Hillary Award to achieve success and complete their activities. We can provide opportunities for young people to learn about leadership, develop their leadership skills, and grow into young leaders in their netball centre, school, and community.

The Duke of Edinburgh Hlilary Award | Framework

The Duke of Edinburgh Hillary Award is comprised of three levels and four sections - Skills, Voluntary Service, Physical Recreation and Adventurous Journey. Participants complete all four sections at each level in order to achieve their Award. At Gold level, participants also complete a Residential Project.

Netball New Zealand | Leaders Programme

The Netball NZ Netball Leaders programme uses netball as a vehicle for young people to learn about leadership, develop their leadership skills, and grow into young leaders in their netball centre, school, and community.
