    Christchurch Netball's Pathways programme is designed to support players and volunteers with development opportunities.

    These opportunities are designed to lift the mana of participants, encouraging them to learn, connect and grow.

    The Christchurch Netball U16 Representative campaign is part of our Pathways programme.

    You will find an overview below, of trials, training and tournament dates.

    • Trials: 29 April (6 - 8:30pm) & 1 May (5:30 -7:30pm)


    • Training: Sundays (4, 11, 18, 25 May) 10 - 11:30am & Thursdays (8, 15, 22, 29 May) 6:30 - 8:30pm


    • Tournaments: Tupuranga Championship (30 May 2 - June)

    Tupuranga Championship | 31 May - 2 June 2025

    Together, the Mid Canterbury and Christchurch Netball Centres welcome all players, coaches, managers, and umpires who are participating in the annual U16 Tupuranga Championship in 2025. The purpose of this tournament is to offer the opportunity to grow and develop a large pool of players, coaches, and officials capable of successfully representing the Centres at a higher level. It is an opportunity to develop players with an age-appropriate, challenging competition that encourages fair and even participation.

    In 2025, the U16 Tupuranga Championship will be played at EA networks Centre in Ashburton, where the event will be hosted by Mid Canterbury Netball and Christchurch Netball in partnership.
